Where can I download Carousel virtual machine images?

Tightrope Media Systems provides virtual machines images in the OVA format for Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012 R2. These OVA files can be used to import an image into your virtual machine environment (VMWare, VirtualBox, XenServer, Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager, etc.)

Additional Information

Step 1: Use the “.ova” file to generate a new virtual machine in your virtual machine host environment.

Step 2: Assign the new virtual machine a hostname and reserved DHCP or static IP address.

Step 3: Run the FrontDoor software installer.

Step 4: Run the Carousel Framework software installer.

Step 5: Launch a web browser on the new Carousel Server and type “http://localhost” in the address bar and press ENTER.

Step 6: Login to FrontDoor with the default credentials. (Username: Admin & Password: trms)

Step 7: From the FrontDoor Main Menu navigate to FrontDoor: Server Setup: Licensing.

Step 8: Copy the Hardware License Key and email it to Tightrope Professional Services to obtain a License Key for your system.
