Where are the Carousel installer log files located?

Carousel 7 introduces a new bootstrapper that prepares the system environment before installing Carousel Player or Carousel Server. This bootstrapper records logs by default to %localappdata%\temp. (You can enter this into a Windows Explorer window to resolve your temp folder.)

The bootstrapper log will be named Carousel_7.x.x.x_<year><month><day><time>.txt

The Carousel Player log will be named Carousel_<version>_<year><day><time>_<install-step>_CarouselPlayerMsi.txt

The Carousel Server log will be named Carousel_<version>_<year><day><time>_<install-step>_CarouselServerMsi.txt


Additional Information

Other components the bootstrapper installs will be logged to this folder as well in a similar naming convention to above. This can include Visual Studio runtime executables, .NET Frameworks, or other components. Sort by date/time to view all log files generated around the same timeframe.
