One or more VOD files have a status of Source Incomplete

  • Cablecast 5.2.0+

Symptoms

  • One or more of your VOD files say Source Incomplete and will not progress

Cause

There are several reasons why this would be the case.

Resolution

  • Ensure that each reel has a digital file attached
  • Ensure that each digital file is valid
  • Ensure that all reels have a non-zero length
  • If the above steps do not resolve the problem, contact our support staff for assistance

Additional Information

Once you have a show with valid files attached to the reels that have appropriate lengths, Cablecast should continue the VOD process without any additional steps for the user.

Cablecast 5.2.8 includes a fix for a bug relating to this issue - Source Incomplete VODs never progress
