Cablecast Installer overwrites some CSS files

Symptoms

  • After updating Cablecast, the Cablecast Public Site's custom CSS settings are lost

Cause

The Cablecast Installer program incorrectly overwrites the Custom.css file that is used to define custom formatting for the Cablecast Public Site.

Workaround

  1. Before performing a Cablecast software update, backup the custom.css file.
  2. After performing the update, restore your backup file.

Additional Information

PendingThis software behavior has been identified as bug and will be fixed.  It has been assigned case number 8746.

Fixed This bug has been fixed internally as is awaiting release.

Released A fix for this bug has been released in Cablecast 5.2.11, released on June 6 2015.
